Well we have just about recovered from our very busy weekend at the Handmade Fair, the van is mostly unloaded and the shop doesn’t look too chaotic either. We have just about caught up with all the online orders now too, and are ready for another action packed week in the shop.
Thank you to everyone who came to see us, and braved the slightly chillier mornings that changed into lovely warm afternoons. It was lovely to see so many familiar faces and meet a few new ones. It looked as if everyone was having a great time learning new skills and buying lots of lovely handmade products.
We should also say a big thank you to Tilly and the Buttons for being on hand to help with any pattern queries, and for calming people’s fears about sewing with jersey and sweat-shirting.
So hopefully you can all make cosy sweatshirts, and lovely corduroy Cleo’s from the fabric you bought from us ready for Autumn. Take a look at our regularly updated corduroy fabrics range.
It looked as if everyone had a great time at all the different workshops, we don’t think we have ever seen so many lovely Willow Bird Feeders, Hair Bows and handmade Brooches. If the number of Christmas fat quarters we sold was anything to go by, it looks as if lots of you were inspired to make lovely Christmas decorations from our fabric.
We even managed to glimpse Kirstie, as she did her stroll through the stands but she was surrounded by so many fans that she didn’t have a chance to say Hello. Oh well there is always next year when we return to Hampton Court on the Green.
In the meantime, be sure to check out our online fabric shop.
