After 5 years of Fabrics Galore online we have learned so much from our customers about the way you shop for fabric on our website and it has long been our dream to improve your online shopping experience at Fabrics Galore. We wanted you to be able to find your fabric inspiration in a faster and more intuitive way, and having overcome our own original resistance to change, we hope you will do the same and continue the journey you started with us in 2016.
A London Fabric Company with a Wider Reach
In our quest to improve the online shopping experience with a brand-new interactive website, we felt it was also a good time for a brand refresh. Keen to underline our London heritage while also reaching out to customers far and wide, we have re-branded as Fabrics Galore London, yet all the good stuff remains the same including our fabulous fabric team.
New Fabric Finding Features
Now here’s the good stuff for our Fabric Gang – how does the website help you find fabrics you’ll love? Here’s 3 ways;

Interactive Search Bar
Yes, our clever new search bar is now interactive and will provide you all possible variations on your search query.

Fabric Menus
In addition to the familiar Dressmaking, Quilting and Furnishing category menus, we now have much easier to navigate fabric menus and you can also search by fabric type e.g. Bouclé, as well as by fabric use e.g. Loungewear. This means that whether you start your search already knowing what fabric you need or, if you simply know you want to make curtains, you can quickly find the collection which will direct you to all the fabrics under that search.

Colour and Print search filters
You can now filter your searches by colour e.g. green and by print e.g. leopard to find a green leopard print fabric (ok so that’s quite specific but you get the point!) so once again you can quickly find your fabric choice whether it’s pink paisley, navy novelty or grey gingham….
There are even more features like selecting a matching thread for your fabric choices before checkout, exploring our Best Sellers and Latest Fabrics (formerly New In) and although the unfamiliar layout may seem overwhelming at first, please give it a try and we think you’ll find it a more fun fabric buying experience.
