We are delighted to announce that following government guidelines we are re-opening our fabric shop at 52-54 Lavender Hill, Battersea, London SW11 5RH with restricted hours from Monday 15^th June .

Your safety is our priority

We have undertaken a thorough risk assessment and plan to open with certain restrictions and measures in place so that we can welcome you in an environment where we can keep both customers and staff safe by observing the government rules and guidelines for retailers.

We are following the advice and guidelines of the Government Health & Safety Executive so please could we ask for your patience and understanding in observing the following advice so that we can protect you our customers and also our staff.

Restricted opening days/hours

Our store will be open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays from 12-4pm to allow us to restrict the number of staff we have in store at any one time.

 Our new Click and Collect service will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Our staff

Our staff will wear masks when serving customers in the shop.

Number of customers

Due to the layout of our shop we will allow only 2 customers inside at any one time and will operate a queue system outside the store on the pavement if necessary. We ask that you take no longer than 15 minutes to browse the fabrics and complete your purchases to minimise waiting time for other customers.

Hand sanitiser

There will be hand sanitiser for customer use at the door and throughout the shop; please could we ask you to use this when entering the shop.

Touching the fabrics

Please could you ask us first if you would like to touch the fabric so that we can provide you with hand sanitiser before and after.

Shop layout

We have marked out the shop floor in 2 metre distances and will operate a one-way system.

Children

Please could we ask you to shop alone if possible and not to bring children with you into the shop as it is unlikely they will be able to observe the 2 metre distances outlined above.

Payment

Please could we ask you to pay using contactless payment wherever possible.
